I am looking forward to educating parents and families in the Columbus community about Lice and effective Lice treatment
Annapolis, MD (PRWEB) September 25, 2015
Ashton Berner was not actively looking for a business. The 28 year-old Ohio native had recently returned from a family vacation when he received a call from his sister-in-law letting him know that her children had lice and that he should check to see if he had contracted the pesky critters.
“I was out in Las Vegas when I got the call and I knew immediately that my itchy head wasn’t caused by the dry Nevada climate, but stemmed from playing with my nephews during vacation,” said Ashton. “I quickly did a Google search for lice treatment and found that Lice Happens in Las Vegas was a mobile service that would come to me.”
During his treatment session, he inquired about how his specialist got into the business and found out that she owned the rights to the Lice Happens Franchise in Las Vegas. "I thought about what a great business this would be for me and when I got home to Columbus, I checked out the franchise and spent some time talking with John Armatas, who helped me learn more about the franchise,“ said Berner.
"Ashton is a perfect example of someone who had learned first-hand what a great service Lice Happens provides,” said Armatas, Director of Franchise Sales and Development for Lice Happens. “The fit was perfect for his situation and the Columbus market will benefit from having Ashton and Lice Happens in the community.”
Co-Founder M.J. Eckert was so impressed with Ashton during his visit to Annapolis that they extended the franchise rights for the Columbus territory within the first few hours of Discovery. “Ashton is a great young man and I am sure his family is very proud of his maturity and focus,” said Eckert. “He is so easy-going that he will make kids and parents feel very comfortable. We are so excited to have him join our Lice Happens Family.”
Co-founder Nancy Fields is not surprised by the growth of the franchise. “We have been offering franchises of under three years and have sold 13 franchise territories,” said Fields. “Our home-based business model sends specialists to our clients and is very appealing to a potential business owner.”
“I learned that there is so much information out there that is not true,” said Ashton. “I am looking forward to educating parents and families in the Columbus community and to give them the peace of mind and confidence that comes from the scientific research and methods we use for head lice treatment and our flawless reputation for outstanding client service.” Ashton expects to open the business in November and has plans of expanding services throughout Central and South Central Ohio during the next few years.
