Life imitates art with Presigious Textiles new fabric collection!

Online fabrics portal Curtains Made Simple is delighted to showcase three of Prestigious Textiles’ new autumn/winter 2013 collections. Life, Indigo and Glamorous truly are a stunning trio from this respected of UK design houses.

All differ in terms of design and colour with most fabrics from the Life fabric collection guaranteed to bring alive any room in which it’s displayed. Indigo fabric collection is based on a striking selection of stripes and checks in bright shades while Glamorous fabric collection is for lovers of darker, sumptuous shades and a modern aesthetic.

The Prestigious Textiles’ autumn/winter collection as a whole introduces 17 new selections to the Yorkshire-based design houses’ fold. The collections are based on Britain’s tough industrial heritage as well as more flimsy folklore motifs and artefacts such as fossils. The current trend for vintage prints is answered as is a love of cute characters – ideal for children’s rooms - and an updated take on weaves.

A spokesman for Curtains Made Simple said: “Two out of three of these new collections are really quite dramatic. Glamour fabric collection for instance is bold and will ensure your curtains, Roman blinds, beanbags or indeed whatever you choose to cover with these designs will become the focal point of the room.

“The Life collection too is eye-catching to say the least with its interpretation of portrait, abstract and landscape paintings in vibrant shades of red and blue.

Indigo fabric collection is slightly more demure than the other two collections but is striking in its own right with bold stripes and damasks that insist on being seen.

“All three are perfect for those looking for fabric to work for them by becoming a major part of the room’s interior design.”

Prestigious Textiles’ Life, Indigo and Glamour collections are all available today on Curtains Made Simple’s website and can be bought either as fabric to fashion at home or as custom made curtains, Roman blinds, cushions, table covers, beanbags etc. The order process is uncomplicated and involves simply choosing a fabric and supplying appropriate measurements. Deliveries will usually take place within four weeks of an order being placed via the site.

Meanwhile, Prestigious Textiles describe their Life collections as “vibrant.” Certainly their digitally printed velvet and cotton/linen blend fabrics featuring nudes, dramatic industrial landscapes and bold floral designs will guarantee to be a talking point wherever they are placed.

Indigo is fun; striking without being too loud. The modern damask design is refreshing and eye-catching and brings an updated look to a centuries old pattern. The stripes and checks are lively and even a touch life-enhancing with their cheering brightness.

Glamorous, on the other hand, is set to alter the look of whatever room it makes its presence felt in. This is a bold range of jacquards, an Art Deco geometric and eye-catching trailing floral. Modern and contemporary rooms in particularly will benefit from these darker, sophisticated fabric designs.
