Aisha Z. Shael Presents New Book on Transformation, Healing
COLUMBUS, Ohio (PRWEB) August 27, 2016 -- In her new book, “Life Gave Me Lemons, and I Made Champagne!” (published by Balboa Press), author Aisha Z. Shael sets out to offer readers proof of the liberating power of transformation.
Shael explores three main events in her personal narrative: how she repressed the memories of childhood abuse, how the abuse wounded her – negatively affected her body, mind and spirit – and controlled her life, and how she transformed those traumas and reclaimed her true self.
An excerpt from “Life Gave Me Lemons, and I Made Champagne!”:
If you browse a thesaurus for a synonym for courage, you probably won't see the word ‘Spirit,’ but I perceive that's what courage actually is. It shores up our life and can bring us through any challenge. Whether we call it courage, Spirit, Infinite Intelligence, or Source, we are all one with that Energy and simply by asking for help we can draw it forward and rely on it. I'm sure of that because I do so continually, and I receive assistance consistently.
“Nothing has power over us unless we choose for it to do so,” Shael says. “We are always choosing what we will be, do, and have, whether we do it consciously or unconsciously.”
