Veterinary client education leader LifeLearn Animal Health has announced that ClientEd, the pet health education library that supports efficient client education for veterinary clinics, has further expanded its integrations with leading practice management systems. ClientEd is now integrated with DaySmart Vet, Hippo Manager, and Shepherd, with more integrations to follow.

Despite an abundance of pet health information on the Internet, LifeLearn has found that veterinary teams usually don’t have time to research or develop their own reliable and factual client education resources. The new LifeLearn ClientEd integrations give valuable time back to veterinary teams by providing pet owners with relevant ClientEd handouts based on the information entered in the practice management system.
“Four in five pet owners are more likely to follow their veterinarians’ recommendations when they understand the reasons behind them,” says Dr. Mark Stephenson, LifeLearn’s Chief Veterinary Officer. “That said, effective client education typically takes at least 5 minutes, which can put a veterinarian behind by 2.5 hours with a typical 30-patient day.”
Designed to help veterinary teams overcome these challenges by automating this process, ClientEd contains over 2,100 pet health handouts to support client decisions and confident pet care with professionally written, jargon-free handouts for pet owners. These include more than 260 pet medication handouts to help the veterinary community comply with state-specific prescription requirements like California’s Lizzie’s Law. Clinics can also tailor existing handout content, create their own handouts, add patient-specific doctor’s notes, and customize handouts with practice logos.
ClientEd is not only accessible to veterinary teams through its online portal but can also be integrated directly into a hospital’s website. With the addition of ClientEd’s newest integrations into these leading practice management systems and more integrations currently in beta testing, LifeLearn hopes to make this valuable time-saving education resource accessible and easy to use for animal health and wellness providers everywhere.
