Linfield College Online and Continuing Education Waives Application Fees for RN to BSN Candidates
McMinnville, Ore. (PRWEB) May 05, 2016 -- Linfield College Online and Continuing Education is encouraging registered nurses to apply for its online RN to BSN degree program by waiving the $50 application fee for all qualified applicants from May 1–14. Students need only go to the application page and select the National Nurses Week Fee Waiver option when applying.
With the RN to BSN degree program, all core classes are offered each term, and convenient scheduling options are available. Throughout their Linfield education, students have access to one-on-one advising with both a faculty and an academic advisor, as well as technical support and tutoring services. A capstone clinical opportunity is also built into the program, offering students an opportunity to heighten their online learning by applying it directly to a community service experience.
Linfield College Online and Continuing Education offers a unique opportunity for registered nurses to earn their bachelor of science degree: students are not required to take any exams throughout their course of study, as the program and its staff recognize and respect that these are already competent, working nurses. Accordingly, Linfield offers a part-time curriculum that allows students to develop professionally while maintaining employment.
This 100 percent online program provides a path for working nurses to prepare for leadership and management opportunities in the healthcare profession. "We are excited to be able to honor and assist our working nurses with this fee waiver," said Lisa Knodle-Bragiel, Linfield director of admissions. "Nurses work hard, and their work is important. We want to recognize their dedication to the profession during National Nurses Week," Knodle-Bragiel said.
Applicants who are interested in starting for the summer term (June 20) are encouraged to apply now, however, students can apply for any term using the fee-waived application.
The length of time needed for the RN to BSN degree program at Linfield College Online and Continuing Education varies for each student, as the program aims to accommodate the demands of each student's personal and professional schedules. Financial aid is available, as are opportunities for international studies while completing the capstone service learning project.
