Using linked2pay's mobile app, a delivery person can use a linked2pay lookup field(s) to find the customer's order, allowing the customer to make payment by swiping their card. - Jay McShirley, CEO of transmodus
Oxnard, CA (PRWEB) August 06, 2013
transmodus, the payments technology company that powers linked2pay, today announced the addition of a feature to optimize “Card Present” credit card transactions. This new feature provides the flexibility businesses need to capture their required and often unique data for a payment transaction anywhere, and retrieve a balance due or other data from their account receivable (A/R) systems. This new feature positions any business using the linked2pay mobile app to remotely accept more compliant “card present” transactions which carry a lower fee than “card not present” payments. Also the data captured to any added fields can be used to update the back office or for customized reports.
In an example of use, businesses can facilitate a “card present” payment when customers place orders for products or services that require delivery. So now when a customer makes an order online, over the phone or in person, the business can use Web Services or a manual entry to load those orders into linked2pay. Then, using linked2pay's mobile app, a delivery person out on their route can use a linked2pay lookup field(s) anytime during their shift to find a specific customer's order and allow them to make “card present” payment by swiping their card, authorizing, signing and getting a receipt all in one action. linked2pay stores the customer signature with that payment transaction report to reduce chargebacks while maintaining PCI compliance.
linked2pay Mobile App Features:
- Accept credit card and ACH payments anywhere
- Add new fields with option to link for look up and balance retrieval
- Simplified “card present” payment acceptance lowers fees
- Include any added fields in your reporting
- Automatic receipt emailed to the paying customer
- Custom report builder with email or API options
- Built-in compliance for card (PCI) and ACH acceptance
- Connects to existing or new merchant accounts with $0.00 card fees added
"We built linked2pay as a real business solution and have taken extra care to offer the type of flexibility that can meet a wide range of real world requirements. Being able to add custom fields and to have multiple versions of the mobile terminal with the option to retrieve our client’s A/R data to optimized “card present” transactions is a prime example of our determination to meet those needs in a robust, secure, cloud-based platform," according to Jay McShirley, CEO of transmodus.
