‘The Lion Who Couldn’t Roar,’ a Tall Tales Yoga E-Book and Audiobook Benefits Children’s Whole Health and Teaches Yoga Through Storytelling
DENVER, Colo. (PRWEB) February 26, 2016 -- Denver-based Tall Tales Yoga offers yoga through storytelling in local schools, providing a unique discipline that supports children’s whole health including physical, emotional, and mental development. For the first time, the stories used in the program can now be practiced at home. Through eBooks and audiobooks that combine yoga poses throughout stories, kids not only get the benefit of doing yoga to provide exercise for the body, but they also work out their minds and imagination through storytelling, visualization, auditory processing, and a combination of physical, social, and cognitive skills. Tall Tales Yoga’s newest eBook and audiobook ‘The Lion Who Couldn’t Roar’ by Levi Andrew Noe will be available for purchase in March 2016 for parents, teachers and caregivers to teach kids yoga through storytelling at home or in the classroom.
Tall Tales Yoga was founded by Levi Noe, an entrepreneur, who wanted to combine his three greatest passions – writing, yoga and teaching. “I wanted to create a program that positively impacted kids, and that I was also passionate about,” said Noe. “Kids often absorb information best when they don’t know they are learning, and kids don’t realize how much they are actually taking in when they are listening to a story and doing yoga at the same time. It’s a fun and creative way to get kids moving, using their imaginations, and exercising a number of cognitive and developmental skills.”
Tall Tales Yoga and storytelling focuses on improving executive functions, motor skills, thinking, auditory processing, visual and spatial processing, sustained and divided attention, emotional self-regulation, visual and spatial processing, and language in kids ages 3 through 11 years old.
Tall Tales Yoga’s most recent release ‘The Lion Who Couldn’t Roar’ is all about finding the strength and power to speak, to help and, in times of need, to roar. Finding your voice is never easy, but this little lion can't seem to roar no matter how hard he tries. When the time comes and finding his roar is the only way to save his family, will his voice be heard?
