Shalett, a widely known and respected former Goldman Sachs partner, brings extensive marketing and compliance expertise, having served as Head of Brand Marketing and Digital Strategy and COO of Global Compliance during her 20-year career at Goldman Sachs.
Amidst the intensifying regulatory environment in 2006, Shalett was asked to become the COO of Global Compliance, and later Legal and Internal Audit as well, where she focused on the development of strategies and tools to enhance the early identification of risk and the application of risk management best practices across numerous businesses and regions.
Shalett was selected to take on the role of Head of Brand Marketing & Digital Strategy for Goldman Sachs in 2010. During the financial crisis she led innovative advertising, social media, and marketing efforts to help transform the way Goldman Sachs communicates with key stakeholders and improve favorability by bringing greater transparency to the firm’s activities and positive impact on economic growth. Shalett has been named one of the "Top 100 Most Inspiring Marketers" and one of the "Top 50 Women in Brand Marketing."
