Author Lloyal High Cloud Walker inspires readers as they strive to achieve the Alpha State through meditation in his new collection of short stories, prose and poetry, “Alpha State Writings” (published by Balboa Press).
In a little more than 100 pages, the author seeks to stimulate thoughts outside what he calls the “confines of the mundane collective consciousness.” His stories were written to expand the mind and encourage readers to find the divinity within themselves.
The stories and poems of “Alpha State Writings” cover a wide range of topics, including religion, spirituality and philosophy. Through his writings, the author hopes to inspire readers to embark on their own quests to self-actualization.
An excerpt from “The ‘Hi, God’ Story” featured in “Alpha State Writings”:
God imagined himself to be
a single human being.
Why, it must be you!
Hello again, God.”
