Weathervane Winery announces that they will be expanding, by adding a new event room.

Weathervane Winery is excited to announce that they will soon undergo a new major expansion. They will be adding a new event room to host wedding receptions and an area for birthday and anniversary celebrations.

The new event room will seat 120+ people and will feature an expanded courtyard. A catering kitchen and two dressing rooms will also be included. The rest of the expansion will include warehousing for dry goods and other supplies. Weathervane Winery will be hiring several part-time employees and an additional full-time employee to oversee the expansion of the events area.

The Weathervane amphitheater has also undergone a face lift, now offering a hard surface dance area and a smoother yard. They will also soon build a gazebo that will be perfect for weddings or for enjoying award-winning Weathervane wine while overlooking the vineyard.

The new additions should be completed by mid-summer, 2014. In the meantime, customers can still enjoy a pleasant wine-tasting experience at the area’s finest local winery. For more information about Weathervane Winery and their new expansion, call 336-793-3366 or visit their website at
