Weathervane Winery Introduces Yadkin Valley’s First Moscato Wine Due South
Lexington, NC (PRWEB) September 30, 2013 -- One of Lexington, North Carolina’s premier vineyards, Weathervane Winery, announces the release of the Yadkin Valley’s first Moscato wine, Due South. Owner Sid Proctor is proud of the new addition that is made in the Italian style and is sure to be pleasing to the palate. It contains 12.5 percent sugar and is sweet in the front of the palate and citrus tasting on the end.
Every wine that comes from the Weathervane Winery is hand selected by Sid. He chooses the varietal of grape, the recipe and the bottling. Weathervane Winery wines are not mass produced so drinkers can be sure to enjoy a clean, flavorful and award-winning taste that has become synonymous with Weathervane Winery.
The new Moscato joins the ranks with other Weathervane Winery wines such as their sweet Strawberry Breeze, white Harvest Moon and red Snow Drift. Visitors can stop by the winery Tuesday through Sunday to enjoy one of the many offerings of wine or to take a tour.
