When author Lois E. Bradford lost her husband, she not only had to go through the grief of her loss, but also handled the estate dealings, finances, and faced every obstacle that came her way during those trying times while raising her children. Losing a loved one is not something anyone can truly ever prepare for, which is why Lois wrote her book, “Widowed, Single, Now What?” to help readers undergoing similar difficult circumstances in their lives.

Bradford’s book is for widows, widowers, or anyone who had a loss, to help them cope with the stress and grief of bereavement while dealing with their self-discovery, to guide them in sorting out people and things that are needed in order for them to have a healthy life. This also includes dealing with things that may not have been thought about during the confusion that came with the grief, anger, and depression. The author bases her work on what she has lived and gone through in her healing in order to deal with her own loss.

“My hope is for this to be a testimony and an encouragement to those who read it,” Bradford shares.

The main focus of this book is to encourage readers to hold on to their faith in God while enduring through the ordeals they face. Bradford shares a simple message, "you are not alone, we can get through this together, believe me, if I can do it, anyone can!”
