HOUSTON, Oct. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Today, Lone Star Emergency Group is excited to announce that it has added Brandi Lavold as its Vice President of Parts and Inventory.
Lavold, who has significant experience in both parts and service management, has vast expertise in light duty HVAC, transmissions (both automation and manual), front end suspension, starting and charging, engine diagnostics, tires, and more. She also has in-depth knowledge of heavy-duty diesel applications – both emergency response and over-the-road units – including Freightliner, Western Star, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Prevost, Ferrara, E-One, and Spartan.
"My first real word as a baby, I'm told, was 'Peterbilt,'" she says. "And my father wasn't even an OTR driver. Go figure!"
A native of Chicago, Lavold studied kinesiology at Delta College in University City, MI, and is planning to attend the University of Houston in the spring of 2019 to complete her MBA degree in supply chain management.
"I started my love for the industry because I loved the chemical makeup of a tire and how much can be diagnosed by the different wear patterns," she says. "I love family, I love people, and I love inventory."
Lone Star's large and growing parts division requires a manager with expertise in inventory controls who can maximize the company's efficiency across Texas. Lavold's combined skills in people management, product management, and project management will help Lone Star better serve people across the state.
"I believe great companies are built with great people, and Brandi fits that description," says Brad Fullington, CEO of Lone Star Emergency Group. "Her experience, professionalism and leadership are of the highest quality, and I am excited to have her leading our statewide parts division."
Fullington welcomes all current and former customers of Brandi to call and congratulate her on joining "the most committed emergency vehicle service company in Texas." She can be reached at (214) 205-5064.
