Longwood University College of Business and Economics Announces Chief Brand Officer of Jamba Juice to be Executive-in-Residence
Farmville, Va. (PRWEB) October 01, 2013 -- Julie Washington, chief brand officer for Jamba Juice, will speak Monday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m. in Longwood University’s Blackwell Ballroom.
Washington’s talk on “Personal Branding” is part of the Executive-in-Residence lecture series in the College of Business and Economics.
Washington is an accomplished senior marketing and sales executive whose career spans several world-class companies including Procter & Gamble, The Gillette Company, Luxottica Retail, Nestlé Purina Petcare and Bristol-Myers Squibb. She oversees Jamba Juice’s marketing and communications programs, and she also is president of Talbott Teas, a subsidiary of Jamba.
Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Emeryville, Calif., near Oakland, Jamba Juice is a specialty beverage and food company that calls itself “the healthy active lifestyle brand.” The restaurant retailer has more than 800 locations in the United States and several foreign countries.
