New Poetry Encourages Prayer, Faith, Forgiveness and Motivation
Sunrise, FL (PRWEB) August 25, 2013 -- Author Lorna A. Henningham presents a collection of poems, thoughts and anecdotes written to strengthen and motivate Christian believers in her new book, “Heart and Soul Reflections: Poems, Anecdotes and Thoughts” (published by AuthorHouse).
Inspired by her relationship with Christ, Henningham felt a need to share this relationship with others through the written word. “Heart and Soul Reflections: Poems, Anecdotes and Thoughts” is an uplifting collection of poetry and prose designed to energize, uplift and inspire. Henningham focuses on themes of love, forgiveness, thankfulness and appreciation.
“This book of poetry speaks to readers intimately and is geared to bring hope, generate laughter, create a positive reading experience and motivate readers despite life’s challenges,” Hennigham explains. “Dreams can be realized through perseverance.”
An excerpt from the poem “Forgiveness”:
“You can’t be a loser by forgiving someone;
Once you do, God’s peace grows brighter and
The weight of unforgiveness gets lighter.
Utilize your right;
Take your power back;
Give the gift of love and forgive today.”
