Los Angeles Photographer Stays on Top
(PRWEB) July 17, 2013 -- It has been a busy few months for veteran Los Angeles photographer Linnea Lenkus who reported spending countless hours on revamping websites for her two Southern California photography studios. Lenkus says that the main portrait studio website is “Part 1 of a large scale effort geared towards keeping the site constantly updated with new images.” Lenkus admits, "As a photographer, it’s extremely difficult to keep a website current when you are busy photographing in the studio, but I promise my clients and fans of my work that I will definitely try and stay on top of it." Lenkus also launched a boudoir photography website in the same month which, she says, "Celebrates the beauty of the feminine form for the sophisticated woman." This form of photography has been a focused passion for Lenkus for over two decades who studied under such great photographers as Ruth Bernhard.
Being a fine art portrait photographer gives Linnea Lenkus the opportunity to meet a variety of interesting people such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s principal trombonist Nitzan Haroz. Haroz came to her portrait studios to be photographed by Lenkus with his expecting wife and two children. "I’m a music junkie," Lenkus admits. “When I meet a professional musician, I’m always very impressed and Nitzan's talents blow me away." The Haroz family recently celebrated the birth of their third child and again requested the services of Lenkus who said, "He was very complimentary of my photography. While maintaining her busy photography studios Linnea Lenkus also owns and curates Linus Galleries an art gallery dedicated to showcasing quality artwork from all over the world. Linus Galleries continually posts new calls for entries giving artists the opportunity to compete in juried online exhibits. Those artworks selected for the online show are then judged again to create a final selection that is presented in a live exhibition.
The next Linus live art gallery exhibition titled "It’s Only Natural” is set for Friday, July 26th from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM in Pasadena, California. The collective summer art show contains artworks from the themes Women, Men, The Naked Truth, Body Image, 7 deadly Sins and Duality. The mediums explored in this art exhibit range from paintings to photography to video and mixed media. All artwork at the exhibit is for sale and Lenkus encourages "serious art collectors to come for the chance to purchase fresh and inspired art." There will be a live art demonstration by Los Angeles trash portraiture artist Annie Terrazzo and live musical performance by up and coming duo Kids Without Instruments.
