The owner of The Curtain Exchange, a Louisville curtain store specializing is custom drapery, has announced that her store’s drapery will be featured in five rooms of Bellarmine University’s 40th Designers' Show House. Of the 30 rooms in the show house, The Curtain Exchange has contributed drapery and other home goods to the Master Suite Sitting Room, the Hobbs Bathroom, the Dining Room, the Lakeview Bedroom and Bath, and the Men’s Washroom.
“We are so excited to have worked with some of our very favorite designers on this project,” says The Curtain Exchange of Louisville owner Amanda Tyler. “We have worked with Don Harris of Colonial Design several times, and it is always a pleasure. Likewise, we had a wonderful time collaborating with Expect the Unexpected, Amy Wagner, and Sandy Kimura.”
Highlights of The Curtain Exchange’s involvement include the window treatments on the bay window in the dining room, which has been dressed with beautiful embroidered silk strip curtains and crystal finials, as well as the Hobbs Bathroom, which The Curtain Exchange designed using Peacock Alley products. The Hobbs Bathroom design includes a custom shower curtain by The Curtain Exchange and towels, embroidered linens and a robe by Peacock Alley. The window is dressed with woven woods.
