Lucida® Treatment Center in Lantana, Florida, an addiction and mental health treatment facility located steps away from the Intracoastal Waterway in Palm Beach County, has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for behavioral health care accreditation.

A widely recognized symbol of quality, the Gold Seal of Approval® reflects the commitment of an organization to providing safe and effective care. In order to earn the coveted Gold Seal, an organization has to demonstrate continuous compliance with The Joint Commission’s national performance standards, which are among the most rigorous quality standards in the health care industry.

“We’re extremely proud that Lucida Treatment Center has earned The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval®,” said Seth Kaminsky, Regional Vice President for Elements Behavioral Health. “It’s a testament to the hard work and determination of everyone across the organization, working long days to prepare for the inspection and secure this highest accreditation.”

The process began with an in-depth onsite survey in April 2015, and accreditation was granted about three months later. Achieving accreditation isn’t the end of the journey, but the beginning. “Our entire staff is committed to continuing to work together to develop strategies and approaches that will benefit our clients,” Kaminsky said.
