Earlier this year, American Airlines introduced a new premium in-flight experience on aircraft flying to Europe, Asia and other long haul markets. During the month of October, American Airlines will be airing a 3 minute movie clip about Autobahn Adventures as part of their in-flight video entertainment program. The program, called “Innovators on the Move,” will be shown to more than 70,000 passengers in First and Business Class flights worldwide.

Autobahn Adventures was founded in 2004 by Mark and Tina Trewartha. In 2003, the couple wrote an article for The Porsche Club of America’s newsletter about their once-in-a-lifetime luxury European autobahn vacation. Response was overwhelming and the duo realized that others wanted to experience the same dream vacation. After a year building contacts with Porsche, selecting hotels and restaurants, and planning routes that offered breathtaking views and adrenaline-pumping driving experiences, Autobahn Adventures was born and they traveled with their first group of guests.
