Machine-to-Machine Intelligence (M2Mi) Corporation today announced its intention to further enhance the resilience and security of the M2M Intelligence® platform by utilizing software assurance tools and resources as part of the Software Assurance program hosted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
The Software Assurance Marketplace (SWAMP) is a national marketplace hosted by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that provides continuous software assurance capabilities to researchers and developers. The goal of the program is to enhance the security of software by providing Software Assurance (SWA) researchers, tool developers, tool users, and educators a suite of secure and dependable analysis services. By facilitating the sharing of tools, techniques, information, experiences, and resources, the program will help advance the quality and adoption rate of SWA tools, lower the threshold for using them, and make it easier to interpret and use their output.
“The M2M Intelligence® platform includes cyber security components built on our patented Lockbox security technology. We believe the Software Assurance process will further enhance the security of our M2M Intelligence® platform and position M2Mi as a leader in providing scalable and secure M2M and Internet of Things solutions. We welcome this offering from the DHS, and believe the marketplace will help increase the security of software delivered within the industry”, says Geoff Brown, CEO of Machine-to-Machine Intelligence (M2Mi) Corp.
M2M Intelligence® includes infrastructure automation, cyber security and bundled carrier bandwidth as part of the core platform offering.
