MACH37™ Stars Mentor Network Begins Global Expansion Phase
Herndon, VA (PRWEB) June 09, 2014 -- The MACH37™ Cyber Accelerator announced the expansion of its Stars Network with a global call for new members. The Stars Network includes successful cybersecurity entrepreneurs, domain experts, and industry thought leaders from throughout the United States. These mentors have committed to helping MACH37™ entrepreneurs validate their disruptive cybersecurity concepts and prepare their companies for investment.
“MACH37™ plays an important role in encouraging and improving entrepreneurship in security,” commented Nick Lantuh, Cofounder of NetWitness. “I am proud to support this mission by being a mentor and advisor to MACH37™ companies. By sharing the experience and insight we have gained in our careers with young companies, I believe Stars Network mentors are advancing the pace of innovation in security.”
Members of the Stars Mentor Network regularly meet and work with MACH37™ program’s energetic innovators. Being part of this network offers mentors a unique opportunity to stay plugged into the disruptive edge of security startups. As they become familiar with the companies, mentors have the opportunity to engage in more formal involvement as advisors or investors. In addition, mentors participate in MACH37™ Security Leaders Dinner series, events and Cohort Demo Days. Interest in the Cyber Accelerator program has now grown to a global scale with applications coming from Canada, Europe, and Australia. In response, MACH37™ is now expanding its call for mentors worldwide.
