As the senior care industry continues to grow with over 10,000 per day turning 65, Right at Home, a leading in-home senior care franchise with more than 300 locations in 44 states nationwide and a presence in six countries globally, is targeting Wisconsin for growth with plans to add four additional locations and 200 jobs to the Madison community. This move will significantly expand their footprint across Wisconsin and deliver Right at Home’s quality of care to the Madison DMA.

“Continuing to steadily and consistently grow in Madison is a priority for us,” said Eric Little, Senior Vice President of Franchise Development at Right at Home. “Our goal is to improve the quality of life for as many people as we can, while also boosting the local economy through job creation.”

To assist in its Madison growth efforts, Right at Home launched a personalized campaign to attract new franchises in Madison, “Success with Significance”, focused on helping future business owners connect with current Right at Home franchisees. Included in the campaign are Jerry Lawson, a former pharmaceutical rep who turned to franchising as the next extension in his career; Tom and Jennifer Bollum, a successful husband and wife team who owned other businesses prior to Right at Home; and Matt Field, a Ironman athlete who leveraged his passion for sports and an active lifestyle into helping others. “I was tired of the grind,” Lawson said. “As I got older, I decided I wanted to do something bigger and better. Working in the pharmaceutical world gave me great business insight, but left me desiring something more. People always told me I should start my own business. The energy that would go into starting an independent business would be exhausting. I decided franchising was the way to go and landed on the senior care industry.”

For many seniors and disabled adults, their homes represent the last symbol of independence and dignity. Right at Home’s in-home care and personal care assistance allows these individuals to remain in the comfort and convenience of their homes for as long as possible. In-home care includes individualized services that range from companionship, meal preparation and housekeeping to personal hygiene, bathing and medication reminders. Right at Home also has specifically trained care workers for those with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

“With nearly 825,000 residents in Wisconsin already over the age of 65, the need for this type of service is only going to increase,” Little said.

Right at Home offices are independently owned and operated and directly employ and supervise all caregiving staff, each of whom is thoroughly screened and trained prior to entering a client’s home. The result is an industry-leading service that offers a full continuum of personalized care to individuals in need.

Many factors have contributed to the continued success of the Right at Home brand, including a comparatively low initial and ongoing investment for franchisees during a time of unprecedented growth in the senior care market.
