The Maharajas’ Express was and continues to be the most luxurious train of the world. The WTA 2013 award conclusively reiterated the Maharajas’ claim to top spot among luxury trains of the world.
“The Maharajas’ Express has won the WTA award in the previous years and in November 2013, it was a proud moment at Doha when the panel of the World Travel Association voted to give it top spot. Everyone at IRCTC and on board the Maharajas Express, serving in various capacities, had ample reason to smile and hold their heads up with pride as the Ceremony at La Cigale put the train head and shoulders above the Rocky Mountaineer, Hiram Bingham, Venice-Simplon and the Eastern and Oriental Express,” quoted a spokesman on behalf of IRCTC that owns and runs this fabulous train.
That we have won the Award second year in a row simply goes to show the consistently high standards we maintain when it comes to giving the most fabulous and enchantingly royal experience to our guests. It is not just the décor or ambience or services that, needless to say, are graciously royal beyond compare; it is the fact that we keep on improving and improvising in our efforts to give something extraordinarily princely, something to cherish and something to remember those enchanting moments of the trip. It is justly deserved since we have given a lot of thought into its design as regards exteriors, interiors, itineraries and services besides going to extraordinary lengths to train personnel to make each guest feel like a king at each moment they are on board the world’s most royally luxurious train and India’s pride as being the best luxury train of India.
This would not have been possible without the support of our Travel trade associates, our service providers and more importantly the guests whose appreciations and valuable feedbacks had motivated us to deliver better and improvise our standards.
“Here at Maharajas we shall continue to build on what we have and raise our standards to still greater heights,” he elaborated on efforts by IRCTC to make the best even better.
