USA Military Medals Now Carrying Maine National Guard Unit Crests
Milwaukie, OR (PRWEB) September 17, 2013 -- Military medals provider, USA military medals, is now stocking Maine National Guard Soldiers with distinctive unit insignia, here, today, in its efforts to close the geographical gap between Maine and UMM's location in Portland, Ore.
From military slang, a distinctive unit insignia (DUI) or "unit crest" is a metal heraldic device worn by soldiers in the United States Army
The crests – including the U.S. Army Maine National Guard Unit Crest (Dirigo) and the U.S. Army 133rd Engineer Battalion Unit Crest (To The Last Man), to name a few – are sold in pairs (i.e., if you order a quantity of 1 you will receive two Unit Crests) with steel pin-backing starting at $14.95.
"Maine and Oregon are on opposite sides of the country, but that doesn't mean our services shouldn't be just as available to Soldiers there as it is here," said USAMM, LLC President of business operations, Jared Zabaldo.
USAMM owns and operates USA Military Medals along with various other military uniform e-commerce stores.
"There is a fairly sizable National Guard presence in Maine and every one of those soldiers has uniforms needs that require professional attention," said Zabaldo.
These insignia are available online now. Maine Soldiers can additionally purchase their military ribbons, medals and other awards through the popular uniform program "EZ Rack Builder," which allows customers to build and order their military ribbon racks.
From military slang, a military ribbon or medal "rack" represents the colorful rows of awards typically found above the wearer’s left pocket on U.S. armed forces dress uniforms.
"I know these folks have bigger things to worry about, so I've made a commitment to Maine Soldiers and service members all over the world that we will be here online 24/7," said Zabaldo.
