In Wild State, players use strategies and tactics to go from the campaign trail to the White House. It is perfect for game nights at home or for use in the classroom as a fun way to learn about the U.S. electoral process.
SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. , Sept. 19, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The race for the White House is on with Wild State, a new board game launching today that challenges players to strategize and get creative in order to win the Presidency. Political ideologies aside, Wild State offers a fun twist on classic strategy games and promises only one thing: expect the unexpected.
"Do you have what it takes to be the next President? Do you know what it takes to run a political campaign?," said creator Moty Issi. "Wild State is a fun and competitive game that teaches the inner workings of elections without feeling like you're in a classroom. It forces you to use real-life strategies, tactics and patience to pull out a victory."
Players campaign against each other, working to turn states blue or red. Don't worry about arguing over hot-button political issues with relatives or friends, though. The game takes the ugliness out of campaigning, leaving all of the fun.
Just like in a real election, the player with the most electoral votes wins the Presidency. But don't think the winner is easy to figure out halfway through the campaign. Corruption cards that earn additional campaign dollars have consequences - just like in real life.
"I wanted to make this game as real as possible, from the number of electoral votes per state to politicians doing things they shouldn't," said Issi. "This game teaches us all to evaluate complex situations and figure out a strategy to win."
