Management Concepts, Inc. received approval on a $100 million, 5-year Blanket Purchase Agreement from the Food and Drug Administration for workforce development, training and consulting services.
The BPA, awarded through the FDA University (FDAU), allows Management Concepts and its partners to provide professional development support to an estimated 17,000 FDA employees across five key service areas: training support, learning management systems, program and project management, human capital management, and strategic communications.
“We are committed to helping FDA achieve their objective of a streamlined, agency-wide approach to training and developing their employees,” said Steve Maier, President of Management Concepts, “Our comprehensive service capabilities and extensive library of modular content means that we can deliver a virtually unlimited number of PMA-aligned and mission-tailored workforce development solutions.”
For decades Management Concepts has successfully managed large training services contracts with Federal agencies including, among others, HHS, the Department of Labor, GSA, the VA Acquisition Academy, DHS/Homeland Security Acquisition Institute, NRC, DoD, and the Navy. In 2018 Management Concepts provided services to nearly 80,000 Federal employees in 12 countries.
“Management Concepts’ philosophy is that workforce development is most effective when training is tied to an organization’s values, culture, strategy, and goals,” said Maier, “It is an honor to support the FDA employees charged with the promotion and protection of the health of the American people.”
