MARYLANDS, Australia, March 4, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Holy Fire Publishing (http://www.holyfirepublishing.com) releases "Motherhood: Lived in the Fruits of the Spirit" (Paperback, U.S. $16.99, ISBN# 978-1-60383-579-4). Maria Raine brings a Biblical perspective to Motherhood where emphasis is placed on the fruits of the spirit; Love, Joy, Peace, Goodness, Patience, Gentleness, Self-Control, Kindness and Faithfulness. Appropriating these 'fruits' as a guideline, Maria offers simple ideas and comments on how to achieve positive behavioural outcomes when raising the precious gifts that God has entrusted us with. This book is beautifully presented in storybook form to allow for easy reading and reference.
Maria Raine is the fourteenth child from a family of seventeen children, all born to and raised by the same parents in Perth, Western Australia. She had many years to observe the ever shifting dynamics of raising children and more specifically the role a mother plays in this. Maria reflected upon her own childhood when writing the book and attributes her mother to some of the books content. Having taught as a Special Needs Education Assistant and thirty years of observing mothers in church also gave Maria ongoing exposure to how critical our behaviour towards children is, in the shaping of their character and development of life skills.
Maria's inspiration for writing Motherhood Lived in the Fruits of the Spirit came when a friend of her daughters' was due to have her first child. She asked if Maria would join her for coffee and give some advice on motherhood. In her opinion Maria had exceptional children and she wanted her child to have the same qualities.
Motherhood Lived in The Fruits of the Spirit is not a lengthy psychological discourse but rather a brief overview of motherhood. The first pages explore the wonder of life within the womb. "He has shaped us and formed us in the depths of the womb'" and then continues on with suggestions on how to identify and apply key behaviour strategies which are in keeping with the fruits of the spirit and work towards building a more understanding, caring mother/child relationship.
Maria hopes that ideas and comments in her book will resonate in the hearts of readers and serve as guidelines in assisting them through the many unchartered waters of motherhood.
There are no exceptions. When a woman becomes a mother her life will change forever. Women have the very distinct role of meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of their children for a very long time. Undeniably a huge responsibility.
Are you actively depending on the Fruits of the Spirit to guide you in God's way of raising your children? If not, this book may be just what you need to jumpstart your efforts.
