Spirituality, Creativity Flow in ‘The Real Truth About Love’
Penn Valley, Penn. (PRWEB) June 12, 2014 -- Writing has always been a therapeutic tool for author Marisa Goldstein. Ever since she was young, Goldstein says she used her craft to cope with anxiety and bring joy to her heart.
In her new book, “The Real Truth About Love” (published by Balboa Press), Goldstein puts into written form a story about a young woman’s spiritual journey to understand God, love and life, and how they all interconnect with one another.
Willow Mazer is a young woman with insecurities, a curiosity about life and a yearning to learn more about love. After a few disappointing relationships, she decides to fly out to Florida to spend time with her loving grandparents. During her time there she meets some very inspirational people – Lucas Brown being one of her favorites. She befriends him and reaches a deeper understanding of God’s unconditional love.
As the story progresses, it follows Willow’s relationships with those she encounters and the softening of her struggles with her spirituality. Willow later develops a new outlook on life when her mentor, a poet named Ed Thomas, encourages her to let go of her fears and embrace her inner creativity. He also introduces her to the Course in Miracles, which changes her life for the better.
“I think this book will remind (readers) of just how connected we all truly are,” Goldstein says. “It’s a growth process for the reader, through Willow’s experience.”
