In “MacArthur’s Pacific Appeasement, December 8, 1941: The Missing Ten Hours” (published by Trafford Publishing), author Mark Douglas’ new history book, readers are taken back to World War II and shown how Douglas MacArthur was “a bad guy.”

“I am trying to show that MacArthur was a traitor to the U.S., the U.S Army and all his troops,” says Douglas. “Many thousands of people, not just soldiers, sailors and airmen, died because he refused to take action.”

Douglas argues throughout “MacArthur’s Pacific Appeasement, December 8, 1941” that the general should have been pulled out of his position when General Short and Admiral Kimmel were removed from Hawaii. With over 13 years of research, Douglas presents readers with information on how FDR turned a blind eye to MacArthur for personal reasons, how MacArthur failed in the Pacific and much more.

“I want readers to understand there are always two sides to history, and this side shows MacArthur was NOT a hero,” he says.
