Annapolitans can have a New York cabaret experience without going to New York. On Friday, Nov. 14, cabaret artist Marla Singer will perform two shows at the O’Callaghan Hotel’s John Barry Restaurant and Bar, presented by Live Arts Maryland.
Ms. Singer, an accomplished singer and dancer, will perform her spectacular celebration of Marvin Hamlisch's music, "The Music Lives On," which includes songs from A Chorus Line, Sweet Smell of Success, They're Playing Our Song, and from his final show, Nutty Professor. In addition to her cabaret performances, Ms. Singer has appeared in some of the most popular Broadway shows in history, like Chicago, Anything Goes, Brigadoon, Gypsy, Cinderella, Carnival, Funny Girl and more.
There are two shows on November 14, 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. and seating for both is very limited. Tickets are $40 and the price includes all service and handling fees. The O’Callaghan Hotel is preparing a special reduced-price menu for cabaret guests that includes the debut of desserts by Baltimore’s Charm City Cakes and the “C Sharp,” a specialty drink for the evening. Guests will also enjoy half-price valet parking and receive a coupon for a free drink.
