These workshops would present the latest methods and tools to creatively problem solve in the workplace in order to discover new ideas, directions and solutions.
Marni Myers used the grant to attend an American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA) sponsored two-day workshop called ‘Facilitation by Design’ course in Phoenix, Arizona, in April 2014. Of that experience, Marni Myers said, “I went there with some preconceived notions of what I wanted to get out of this intensive workshop and was blown away by the endless possibilities of facilitating groups using a variety of design thinking practices.”
Marni Myers utilizes both the AIGA grant and facilitation course to guide company departments and directors, small to mid-sized businesses, non-profit organizations and their boards, and schools/institutions to creatively problem solve by using design thinking methods in the process.
