BOCA RATON, Fla., May 26, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The White House Historical Association is a non-profit organization that is privately funded through generous donations, and funds the acquisition of historic furnishings and artwork for the White House collection, the restoration and preservation of public rooms, and ongoing scholarly research--including publishing and educational programming such as the White House Teacher Institute.

Many are surprised to learn that the cost of preserving and maintaining the historic furnishings and art within the White House Collection isn't covered by public money or by a federally-funded agency.

Marta is a person who feels a deep sense of pride in our nation and its history, and who understands the importance of stewarding that heritage. Since her arrival to the United States in 1970, she has demonstrated a true immigrant spirit, by getting involved and excelling in the fields of education, business, politics, and community activities.
