Extreme Martial Arts Champion Maguire Kane Wins Gold Medals at 2015 UWC
Redwood City, CA (PRWEB) December 30, 2015 -- All Star Karate Center announced that extreme martial artist Maguire Kane wins eight gold medals at the 2015 Unified World Championship held in Spain. Kane was awarded gold medals for creative, musical, extreme, synchronized forms and weapon forms in the 17-19 year olds division, representing the World Karate Association (WKA) Team USA.
Maguire Kane is a second degree black belt and achieved multiple North American World Sport Karate Association (NASKA) championship titles in extreme martial arts (XMA) forms and weapons, including three gold and two silver medals at the 2014 UWC. He has also won overall titles in the Quebec Open 2015 and US Open ISKA World Martial Arts Championships, televised live on ESPN2 July 2015.
“Maguire was selected to participate as a member of the 2015 WKA Mat Sports USA Team based on his top tier ranking in the NASKA circuit,” says Bob Leiker, President and Coach WKA/USA. “Maguire represented the USA with pride and inspired his team members, as well as other competitors with his elite skills, encouragement and passion for mixed martial arts."
UWC is a prestigious global event that connects XMA with performance sport competitions. This International Championship hosts over 30 world federations with over 120 countries, and joins more than 8,000 athletes together to compete in every aspect in martial arts.
