Maui Wowi Tampa Franchisee Gives Back at Miles For Hope
Greenwood Village, Colo. (PRWEB) December 05, 2013 -- Maui Wowi franchisee gives back at Miles for Hope event in Tampa, Florida. Maui Wowi Hawaiian, a premium coffee and smoothie franchise company, continues to empower its franchisees and employees to take part in community events and support great causes. Local Tampa franchisee, Matt Attal, says events like Miles for Hope are a focus from which he builds his business around.
The 5k run and survivor walk has been hosted by cities all across the country in an effort to raise money and bring more awareness to those who have been affected by the fight against brain tumors. This is Attal’s first time participating as a vendor at the event where he plans to serve hot or iced coffee, freshly blended smoothies, and hot chocolate from his tiki hut cart. He will also be helping the cause by donating a percentage of his sales back to Miles for Hope.
“I enjoy giving back and like to partner with non-profits whenever I can,” said Attal. “Not only is it important to give back, but it is a win-win situation. I am in the unique position to provide a service while helping to fulfill the needs of others.”
Since starting his mobile Maui Wowi business last spring, Attal has transported his mobile event unit called the Ka’anapali Cart to many local gatherings and large organization fundraisers. He says it was his plan from the beginning to involve his business in local charity events and to support the community he lives in.
