Maui Wowi gives us a chance to be successful business owners while delivering the lifestyle we crave.
Greenwood Village, Colo. (PRWEB) August 07, 2013
Maui Wowi Hawaiian announces Doreen Mejias and Brad Uricchio as the newest franchise operators in San Diego. Moving from Florida to California after realizing they were ready for a change, Mejias and Uricchio left the business suits and work heels behind. Now dressed in Hawaiian shirts and flip flops, they are fulfilling their dreams with Maui Wowi Hawaiian.
"After decades of being in a stressful and unfulfilling environment, we were both ready for a change. We only had to spend a short time researching franchises because once we found Maui Wowi, we knew this was for us," said Mejias.
The couple moved from the East Coast to the West Coast a year ago in hopes of becoming their own bosses and running their own business. Mejias and Uricchio both held careers in radiology, and while Uricchio continues to work as a radiology physician, Mejias has resigned from the job and made Maui Wowi Hawaiian her full time career. Since she is an avid coffee drinker, the couple began researching coffee franchises. When they came across Maui Wowi, they realized that the unique business opportunity was perfect for them.
As approachable and social individuals, the two of them are more than excited to work and interact with people. They both realized that slaving away at their jobs day after day was not the lifestyle they were seeking, so they decided to change directions and start heading towards a healthier, more balanced existence. "Maui Wowi gives us a chance to be successful business owners while delivering the lifestyle we crave," said Mejias.
The couple plans to begin with a Ka’anapali cart, which they can conveniently transport to various events and venues serving fresh brewed Hawaiian coffees and all-natural frozen smoothies. They will utilize their interpersonal and management skills to quickly grow the business and bring the Maui Wowi product to more people. "We love the product. It’s easy to sell because we believe in the product and it tastes great," said Mejias.
The new California residents have entered into a self-employed way of life that grants them autonomy, flexibility, and the power to be who they are. "The lifestyle of Maui Wowi allows our personalities to come out. We could see almost immediately that this was going to be a great fit and just what we were looking for," said Uricchio.
Mejias is ready to get started and Uricchio has given his full support as they travel a path more suited to their ideal lifestyle. They are excited to be in the San Diego area, exploring all of the opportunities it has to offer.
"We’re looking forward to great success and most importantly, a lot of fun with our new Maui Wowi family and friends," said Mejias.
