McCreadie Group Receives FastTrack Award by Ann Arbor SPARK for Second Consecutive Year
Ann Arbor, Mich. (PRWEB) November 18, 2014 -- FastTrack, an annual program sponsored by Ann Arbor SPARK, rewards companies in Washtenaw County for outstanding business success. This year’s FastTrack Award winners were honored Friday evening, November 7, at the Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest. Among the winners for the second year running was McCreadie Group, Inc., an Ann Arbor-based pharmacy software solutions company.
The company, founded in 2004 by Scott McCreadie, PharmD, MBA and Barbara McCreadie, PhD, MS, MSE, serves the needs of the hospital pharmacy industry for greater efficiencies and enhanced safety. FastTrack Awards are presented to companies that had at least $100,000 gross revenue in 2010, with an annual average growth of 20 percent for the following three consecutive years. Each year’s revenues must be greater than the previous year’s revenues.
“We are pleased to be recognized with a FastTrack award again this year,” said McCreadie Group founder and president, Scott McCreadie. “It would not be possible without the attention we’ve given to the quality of our products, people and processes. Market responsiveness, strategic hiring decisions, and product line extensions and enhancements will continue to support our goals for the company and the pharmacy industry.”
Scott McCreadie developed his interests in technology and business during pharmacy school at the University of Michigan. As he progressed through a career in pharmacy and IT, McCreadie designed and developed a number of software solutions for research and hospital pharmacies. In 2004, McCreadie Group, Inc. was formed. McCreadie’s combined business, technology and pharmacy experience facilitated the recognition of additional unmet needs in pharmacy resident and student education management as well as research pharmacy management.
By 2010, the company was experiencing tremendous growth. McCreadie Group’s web-based solutions for the research, education and hospital markets include Vestigo®, investigational drug service automation; PharmAcademic™, software that facilitates efficiencies in the coordination of pharmacy school education; and ResiTrak™, a pharmacy residency program-management tool licensed by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).
The McCreadie Group, Inc. was founded in 2004 to provide software solutions for pharmacy applications in healthcare, research and educational settings. Our goal is to drive improvements in quality, efficiency, safety and compliance in the pharmacy profession by delivering innovative software and consultative support.
