OR Advisor provides visibility into outcomes throughout the operating room environment, with modules including Periop Manager, Anesthesia, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, and others.
OR Advisor is used by frontline clinicians and medical leadership to improve patient care and lower costs. With OR Advisor, a frontline clinician can analyze and monitor his performance of a procedure, or quickly assess whether introduction of a new protocol has successfully reduced patient pain scores. An operating room manager can use OR Advisor to assess scheduling capacity. A department chief can use real-world evidence to determine best practices for her physicians, and a chief medical officer can visualize performance variability between system facilities.
First launched at Seattle Children's Hospital in 2016, MDmetrix's analytics, visualization, and AI tools are now being used to drive improvements across the hospital and its ambulatory surgery center. Clinicians using MDmetrix's OR Advisor in these settings have improved care for thousands of surgery patients, while also identifying very substantial cost-saving opportunities that allow Seattle Children's to invest in advancing its critical mission.
