Jones will serve as vice president of PR and social media and brings to the agency her deep experience in the field developed through 14 years leading award-winning teams and programs. Current agency clients Del Mar Racetrack and MacroAir are expanding their long-standing relationship with MeadsDurket to now include all PR and social media. This is in addition to continuing branding, advertising and promotions with the agency.

Jones brings an extensive background in the world of hospitality, lifestyle, and consumer product PR to her role at MeadsDurket. Prior to joining MeadsDurket, Jones worked as senior vice president at i.d.e.a., where she led its reputation department for 10 years. She developed and executed award winning PR and social media programs for clients such as the Del Mar Racetrack, Tiffany & Co., Harrah’s Resort Southern California, The San Diego Museum of Art, Seaport Village, Islands Restaurants and numerous hotels and restaurants throughout Southern California.
Jones’ prior positions include: public relations manager of Benson Marketing Group, a boutique agency in Napa Valley specializing in the wine industry, where she led regional and national PR programs and events; and The Townsend Agency, a full service high tech agency, where she supported national and international PR, trade and b-to-b programs. Jones is a 2012 graduate of LEAD San Diego’s IMPACT program.
