MED-CARE Diabetic & Medical Supplies, Inc., a leading wellness company, founded on the highest principles of patient care and service, announced today its corporate sponsorship of the Inaugural Golf Without Limits Invitational & Adaptive Golf Experience spearheaded by Playing Through Adaptive Golf Institute, Inc. The event is being held at Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac, FL on Saturday, April 26, 2014.

Playing Through Adaptive Golf Institute was founded in 2012 by Ryan and Amanda Chiplock, both certified adaptive golf instructors, to improve the quality of life for individuals of all ages and abilities by making golf accessible at low to no cost for persons with disabilities. All proceeds from the tournament will go directly back to the community, allowing for further expansion of Playing Through Adaptive Golf Institute’s programs. In addition to the tournament, they are holding an Adaptive Golf Experience that will enable attendees to learn what adaptive golf entails.

“MED-CARE is committed to improving the health and well-being of its patients, employees and the communities where we live and work,” said Steven Silverman, founder and CEO of MED-CARE. “We are honored to support the individual volunteer and charitable efforts of our employees, such as Ryan Chiplock, and hope that this event will help to further Playing Through Adaptive Golf Institute’s mission of fostering a lifelong love of golf as recreation, therapy and rehabilitation.”
