Donna Greenspan Solomon Nominated for Women of Distinction 2014 by the Soroptimist International of Boca Raton/Deerfield Beach
Ft. Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) October 09, 2014 -- Donna Greenspan Solomon, respected attorney and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) professional, and well-known in the local community for her tireless service, has been honored with a nomination for a “Women of Distinction” award from the Soroptimist International of Boca Raton/Deerfield Beach. The 41st Annual Women of Distinction Awards Breakfast was held on Wednesday, October 1st, 2014 at the Boca West Country Club.
Soroptimist International is an organization of volunteer professional and business women dedicated to working for the improvement of the lives of women all over the world, with a focus on local community activism and service.
“To say I’m honored is an understatement,” said Donna of the nomination. “No one does this work for an award, or even recognition – especially by an organization I personally respect so much. It’s humbling to think my community service has been noticed, let alone that it might be singled out for something as prestigious as the Women of Distinction.”
Donna, the principal of Solomon Appeals, Mediation & Arbitration, has the distinction of being one of only two attorneys certified as both a Business Litigator and an Appellate Specialist by the Florida Bar. Her community service includes pro bono work for: “And Justice for All,” the Florida Association for Women Lawyers’ Battered Women Project, and for AVDA/YWCA National Domestic Violence Awareness.
