The full spectrum of what I offer clients is known to my legal practice and to the places I lecture and speak for, but mediation has an essential place in all business activities, or it should. I need to promote that side of my practice as well.

Attorney and author Robert S. Bernstein, famed for his creation of the Get P.A.I.D.® system for business credit and collections management presented in his book Get P.A.I.D.: A Guide to Getting Paid Faster (and What to Do if You Don’t!), announced his membership in Mediation.com. The move comes as part of a plan to raise the profile of the mediation aspect of his practice.
“One of the core proficiencies that I bring to my clients is that I know how business works – and how it should work,” said Bernstein of the membership. “But my experience goes far beyond collection strategies and credit management. The full spectrum of what I offer clients is known to my legal practice and to the places I lecture and speak for, but mediation has an essential place in all business activities, or it should. I need to promote that side of my practice as well.”
Bernstein represents other businesses of all sizes and types in many areas of their operation, including representation in reorganization proceedings. He has extensive experience in credit recovery matters, including collection, secured transaction and mortgage foreclosure. As a trained mediator, Bernstein is a member of the Association for Conflict Resolution, an organization dedicated to the practice and public understanding of conflict resolution.
With a JD from Duquesne University, Bernstein is certified as both a Creditors’ Rights Specialist and a Business Bankruptcy Specialist by the American Board of Certification. He writes and lectures for local and national groups on matters of collection, bankruptcy, business law and professional ethics, and is also a regular contributor for the famed 5 Minute Legal Master Series. Among his many accolades are being named a Pennsylvania “Super Lawyer” by Philadelphia Magazine, and, every year since 2009, being named by his peers as one of “The Best Lawyers in America” in the field of Bankruptcy.
