Jacqueline W. Silbermann has served as the Administrative Judge of the Civil Courts of the City of New York for over eight years and then as the Administrative Judge of the Supreme Court Civil Term for another eight years. Her first job after law school was with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates. She then spent five years in private practice doing general litigation.
Jacqueline Silbermann co-authored an article titled “White Paper on Family Law” which discusses all the modes of ADR in divorce and family law, including the differences and similarities between methods, the role of the attorney, and the role of the law. Silbermann is also active in community service, serving on the boards for the Fordham University School of Law and the New York State Association of Women Judges.
