Revered Attorney Charles Damsel Honored by the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and the American Board of Trial Advocates
West Palm Beach, Florida (PRWEB) February 12, 2015 -- Legendary attorney Charles H. Damsel, Jr. – nickname “Chubby” has enjoyed a career of more than 50 years of incredible success serving the Florida community in litigation, arbitration, and mediation. His achievements and reputation have made him one of the most sought-after and successful legal minds in Florida, and he was recently honored by two professional organizations in recognition of his unique position as one of the elite attorneys in the state.
The Florida Defense Lawyers Association (FDLA) recently named Damsel as a Life Member, an honor recognizing Damsel’s service to the community and the FDLA in more than three decades of membership, as well as serving very successfully as FDLA President.
The Florida Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) also named Damsel as the recipient of its “Founder’s Award” in recognition of Damsel’s efforts to support and protect the jury system on which our legal system is based.

Damsel, a graduate of the University of Florida Law School, served as a Special Agent with the Army Counter-Intelligence Corps before entering private practice, and has conducted more than 250 civil jury trials over his illustrious career. In addition to his new honors, he’s AV Rate with Martindale-Hubbel and has been named to the “The Best Lawyers in America.”
