Former Maryland Delegate Dennis C. McCoy Added to the Mediation Community at Mediation.com
Severna Park, MD (PRWEB) November 12, 2013 -- After a legal and political career spanning more than four decades, including twelve years serving the people of Maryland in the General Assembly, Dennis C. McCoy has started the newest chapter of his life as a simple “Attorney at Law.” Seeking to expand his mediation practice, McCoy recently joined Mediation.com, an online portal of the nation’s leading mediators and mediator attorneys.
“I’m not slowing down, I’m changing focus,” McCoy said recently. “I want to have a more personal connection with clients. I want to serve their interests more directly. I’ve been up high, working for people’s collective interests – now I want to work on a one-to-one basis, helping individuals fight their battles.”
McCoy’s law practice focuses on corporate, government affairs and administrative law. He is a certified mediator and arbitrator in the Maryland courts, with certifications in Business and Technology. As a legal scholar, McCoy values learning and up-to-date knowledge and actively pursues continuing education in the areas of law, finance and investments, real estate, advocacy and aviation law. McCoy served in the Maryland General Assembly for 12 years, in addition to being a member of many local Chambers of Commerce and Community Associations.
A graduate of the University of Baltimore Law School, McCoy subsequently earned an MBA in Finance from Loyola University. An avid pilot and Flight Instructor, he is currently included in the Board of Directors for National Association of Flight Instructors and is a member of the Lawyer-Pilot Bar Association.
