Palm Beach, FL (PRWEB) August 17, 2014 -- One of Alabama’s most respected litigators, Steven P. Gregory has established himself as one of the state’s most respected practitioners in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) as well. As part of a campaign to streamline and emphasize his online presence, Mr. Gregory recently announced his membership in the nation’s fastest-growing mediation portal, Mediation.com.
“I’ve been an attorney and ADR practitioner for more than two decades,” said Gregory of the move. “I’ve practiced in the areas of class and derivative actions, securities litigation and arbitration, aviation law, antitrust law, products liability, consumer litigation and other complex fields. I have learned how to pull together large amounts of data and find ways to resolve issues without the need for expensive and divisive litigation.”
A graduate of the University of the Alabama School of Law, where he served as a senior editor on the Alabama Law Review, Mr. Gregory has impressive ADR credentials. He sits on the panel of arbitrators for the Financial Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and has also worked as a mediator with FINRA and with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Mr. Gregory is also listed on the panel of neutrals for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
An accomplished writer, Mr. Gregory has been published on legal and ADR matters in venues such as the Alabama Law Review, and has given presentations on the subject of consumer class actions at the Center for International Legal Studies in Salzburg, Austria, where he is a Fellow. Mr. Gregory also holds the Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from the University of Alabama and published his first novel “Cold Winter Rain,” in July of 2013.
