Change Management Guru John Trombley Brings Group Facilitation Expertise to Both Mediation.com and Arbitration.com
Fargo, ND (PRWEB) May 08, 2014 -- Former Air Force pilot and leading proponent of the value of alternative dispute resolution techniques for both businesses and organizations of any kind, John Trombley recently announced his dual membership in both Mediation.com and Arbitration.com. The announcement came as John launched a campaign to raise his online profile as he provides mediation and organization development services as part of the staff of The Village Business Institute in Fargo.
“I’ve always had a passion for group process facilitation,” said John. “Stemming from my days in the Air Force, I’ve seen the power of simply guiding people to a reasoned, civil solution when disagreements come up. The term “change management” is a very powerful concept, I think, and that’s what I help groups and individuals do: Manage the change that comes to them, usually unexpected and unbidden.”
John is registered with the Supreme Court of the State of Minnesota as a Qualified Neutral, and has trained in Critical Incident Stress Management and Group Crisis Intervention. His primary field of practice is organization development intervention processes, wherein he handles assisting organizations with leadership development, change management, leadership transition processes, executive coaching and personality assessment tools. He is also certified in Internal Investigations by the Council on Education in Management.
A graduate of the University of Mary, Fargo, and the University of Alaska, Anchorage , John is an educator as well, serving as an adjunct faculty member of the University of Mary in the MBA program there, transferring his expertise and knowledge of conflict management and conflict resolution skills to the next generation of business professionals.
In addition to mediation services, The Village Business Institute (VBI) provides an employee assistance program, coaching, organization development and strategic planning, human resource consultation, critical incident stress management, management and employee training, career transition and outplacement services, and specialized services for nonprofits.
VBI currently serves both public and private organizations—schools; transportation; federal, state, and local governments; manufacturing; and health care facilities. VBI’s consulting, training, and counseling services consistently receive outstanding evaluations from its client organizations and their employees. VBI is a program of The Village Family Service Center, an agency headquartered in Fargo, N.D.
