We always remember that when it comes to divorce or other family issues, there are people and emotions – deep, powerful bonds – involved. We never lose sight of the people we’re trying to help.

With more than one hundred years of combined experience representing the interests of small individual clients, large corporate clients and government clients at the local and state level, Peter Russo and his associates know they have the experience required to assist clients with alternatives to litigation. He recently launched a campaign to raise his online profile, with his membership in one of the nation’s fastest-growing online mediation networks, Mediation.com, at the center.
“When it comes to family law, my rule is, never forget the family in favor of the law,” said Russo. “Too many attorneys who try their hand at mediation think of it as a negotiation, like they’re arguing a case. First of all, we aren’t ‛trying our hand’ at anything – We’ve been helping people resolve their problems without litigation for more than two decades. Second of all, we always remember that when it comes to divorce or other family issues, there are people and emotions – deep, powerful bonds – involved. We never lose sight of the people we’re trying to help.”
Peter shares his practice with five other attorneys including two expert family law attorneys, Lindsay Gingrich Maclay and Jennifer Spears Brenize. Lindsay is a trained collaborative attorney, mediator and parenting coordinator. She also handles family law, residential real estate transactions and real property dispute cases. Jennifer is a graduate of the Dickinson School of Law and is a member of many professional organizations that deal with family law including the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
All three attorneys handle all kinds of family law cases including divorce, custody, adoption, child support, alimony and spousal support; and the dispensation of assets before, during and after marriage.
