I always put the concerns of my clients first. —John Powell III
Pearland, Texas (PRWEB) September 13, 2013
Recognizing his experience, training and work in the field of alternate dispute resolution, the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association (TMCA) has accepted local Pearland attorney John Powell III as their newest Credentialed Mediator. The TMCA is an organization that creates and applies a Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice to all of its credentialed members, and requires members to demonstrate education, experience, and ongoing training in the field of mediation in all disciplines.
“I’m very proud to be a Credentialed Mediator with the TMCA,” Powell stated. “This organization holds all mediation professionals up to the highest possible standards, and to successfully gain credentials from them is a highlight of my professional career.”
Powell, a graduate of both the University of Tulsa College of Law as well as the University of Houston Law Center, and a member of the Texas State Bar since 1998, has practiced in Pearland since that time. His focus is on small business law and family law, where his exceptional skills and training as a mediation and alternative dispute resolution specialist have earned him a glowing reputation and a growing practice, now recognized as first-class by the TMCA.
As a Credentialed Mediator for the TCMA, Powell is required to adhere to the organizations code of ethics and standards of practice, which he believes will not be difficult. “I’ve always conducted my business in the most professional manner possible,” he says. “I always put the concerns of my clients first. Mediation is often less expensive for clients than litigation, which is why some attorneys push court on their clients. But I’ve always pursued the strategy that’s best for my clients – and if that’s mediation, that’s what I advocate.
