Not only would this person benefit from having our experienced attorneys for support and be able to take advantage of an established network of professional colleagues, but they would learn how to run their own firm and how to build a client base.

Pearland, TX (PRWEB) June 06, 2014

After decades of service to the people of Texas, the Powell Law Firm, led by attorney and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) professional John Powell III, has demonstrated their commitment to their clients, their community, and the legal community at large. The firm recently announced a unique opportunity for a recent law-school graduate seeking to gain experience and build a practice with the support of an established firm.

“We’re looking for a new associate - recent grads who’ve passed the bar – to bring alongside the firm for mentoring opportunities,” said John Powell III. “We want to find a newly-licensed attorney who has the ambition to launch their own practice but who also sees the value in a mentoring opportunity. Not only would this person benefit from having our experienced attorneys for support and be able to take advantage of an established network of professional colleagues, but they would learn how to run their own firm and how to build a client base.”

The position would not be a paid, employer-employee position - but would have subsidized expenses on a gradually-building basis until the attorney was self-sufficient - being structured more as an association between two attorneys independently assisting one another. The goal would be the establishment of a fully-self-sufficient attorney in about a year’s time, making his/her own fees and carrying his /her own weight.
