Finally…First Ever Professional Training Event for Doctors and Nurses Wanting to Offer Medical Marijuana Recommendations to Patients
Oakland, California (PRWEB) July 30, 2015 -- Dale Sky Jones, Executive Chancellor of Oaksterdam University, the first cannabis college in the United States, will speak at the International Cannabis Professionals Expo held at the Caribe Royal All Suites Hotel and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, October 2-4, 2015.
The International Cannabis Professionals Expo is the largest medical cannabis expo in the country and this year’s expo will be the first ever to focus on professional training for doctors and nurses interested in offering medical marijuana recommendations to patients.
The event will feature two days of CME and CNE lectures dedicated to medical cannabis education, plus information on medical cannabis business and networking opportunities.
Jones has long been known for her focus on overall civil rights issues, while developing avenues through which patients, doctors, providers, and regulating authorities can be more confident in the medical cannabis continuum, from the plant to the patient.

About Dale Sky Jones - Dale is based in Oakland, CA and is focused on enhancing the debate for cannabis policy reform throughout the country. She took over as President of OU to ensure the legacy of cannabis education through Oaksterdam University to help support sustainable growth with quality training for the cannabis industry. Important initial steps include establishing the political and social climate that will encourage cannabis policy reform.
She is the Chairwoman of the Board for the Coalition for Cannabis Policy Reform, stemming from her experience as the spokeswoman and legislative liaison for the Prop 19 Campaign in California.
